Effect of gamma(γ)- irradiation on the bovin serum albumin’s (BSA) global thermodynamic stability and metal binding ability has been examined. 137Cs was used as a source of γ-irradiation. It has been shown that irradiation of BSA solution with doses 50Gy and 100Gy causes drastic decrease of amount of proteins molecules capable to interact and form complexes with double charged copper ions while the global stability of BSA is in less extent effected under the same irradiation conditions.
